| ELGIN, ILLINOIS – The Grand Victoria Casino was packed with hundreds of slot jackpot winners on Saturday, July 7, 2007 – seven hundred one (701), to be exact. Cheryl T. of Delavan, Wisconsin was just one of several big winners that day, having won $50,000 on a Five Times Pay™ progressive. “(That’s) Gotta be something!” an excited Cheryl exclaimed. “I was on my way home from Woodstock so I decided to stop by the Grand Victoria. I was on my way out when I won the $50,000.”
Grand Victoria paid out a total of $1.79 million in slot jackpots on 7.07.07 alone, over $189.6 million, year-to-date. Special commemorative tee-shirts with the words, “I hit it big on 7-7-7 at Grand Victoria Casino” were given to slot jackpot winners that day. “7.07.07 was an especially busy day and we had more winners than expected. By the end of the day, we had given away all the tee-shirts in our inventory. It was great to see so many big winners in one day!” says Michelle Bell, Director of Marketing.
